Mario has over 20 years of investing experience, having managed funds at Moneda Asset Management, Fidelity International and most recently at Genesis Investment Management where he led investments into Latin America and South East Asia, as a partner of the firm. He is also an experienced angel investor in areas including B2B SaaS, Fintech, Wellness and Healthtech. Mario also serves on boards of several family offices and operating companies, and leads non-for-profit activities in developing countries. He is a competitive ultra-distance trail runner, and a happy husband and father of three incredible girls. Mario graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Chile, and has an MBA from Columbia University, where he still actively participates as mentor to students in the Value Investing Program.
