Cameron Colquhoun is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker, investor, surfer, DJ, and explorer of planet Earth.
Raised in Scotland and now living between Miami and Costa Rica, Cameron is the Founder / CEO of Neon Century Intelligence, the world's first ethical investigations and intelligence business. Witnessing the open data supernova that happened in the early 2010's (as a result of ubiquitous smartphone use, 4G, social media and digitization of government records), Cameron realized that global firms and private clients could harness this 'open source' intelligence to make better business decisions in a turbulent world. A decade later, Neon is retained by some of the world's leading funds and families as they navigate commercial, personal, and philanthropic risks and opportunities.
Prior to founding Neon, Cameron spent almost a decade working for the British Government, advising ministers and decision makers on national security. He won the inaugural Fulbright Award for Cyber Security set up by President Obama in 2016. His work has been published in WIRED, the New York Times, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the RAND Corporation and many other outlets.
