I work alongside my mother and a small team making hand-knotted contemporary rugs in Nepal. My primary roles are Designer and Head of Marketing & Branding. Though my greater contribution and mission in our boutique-style business is to tell a story of nature, creativity and individuality through handmade rugs as an ancient art form.

The other hat I wear is that of a yoga instructor. I've been a practitioner of various styles of traditional, disciplined yogic practices including asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation for 12 years. With the blessings of my teachers, my humble desire is to share a few of those teachings and hope that they impact others in some small way.

My most recent endeavor is my involvement with an Indian-based NGO called An Initiative-Touch Your Soul (AITYS). Our work spans across 350 villages and 60 schools in the northern state of Uttarakhand providing infrastructure support, education aid, health and hygiene assistance, and more. I am currently on the fundraising team, working passionately to provide our volunteers on the field with resources to carry out their work with the greatest potential.
