Logan is Founder and CEO of Causative, architecting a best-interest enforcement layer to sit between the mass market and the AI-era internet. Since 2021, he’s been building AI-first products towards societal cohesion and collective action. He also serves as the Innovation Advisor at Harvard Medical School's Center for the Science and Practice of Meditation.
Logan previously founded a deep tech venture studio, advised AI startups and innovation hubs (incl. Oxford University Innovation) and coached the Oxford MBA impact investment team.
Earlier in his career, he held a variety of senior leadership roles in the humanitarian and conservation sectors: Director and Representative of the Nigeria INGO Forum during uprise of Boko Haram; Chair of the Syria INGO Regional Forum’s Advocacy Working Group at the peak of the Syria Crisis; Director of Middle East policy and advocacy for Nobel laureate INGO; Country Director of reef conservation and advocacy organization in Philippines and Cambodia; disaster response coordination with International Medical Corps in Haiti and DR Congo.
He also authored the 5-part global authority framework (UN & NGO) for operationalizing impact assessment, monitoring, evaluation and learning standards in humanitarian contexts.
He studied business, economics, organizational change and international law at top universities on 5 continents, and designed and instructed the highest-rated (for 6 straight years) critical thinking and applied ethics course on Udemy.
Outside offices, Logan spent 14 years in 80+ countries, is a PADI Dive Master with hundreds of logged reef conservation research dives, is a certified catamaran skipper, has spent over 100 days in silent meditation, was an outdoor leadership and survival guide for teens, taught archery and hatchet throwing, was caretaker for dozens of companion and farm animals, and holds a Guinness World Record in surfing.
