I think siloing amongst thinkers of different disciplines is a huge challenge. I have the technical skills to create impact, but I find that it is a rare and beautiful thing to be immersed in a community whose skills complement mine. In short, I need interdisciplinary connections who can help me use my technical skills for good.

I think we are at a pivotal moment in terms of the accessibility and power of machine learning models. These models excel in ways we wouldn't have expected, and fall short in ways we need to understand more deeply. We must harness them to move toward the world we want; the time is now.
