David is an investor and entrepreneur with a track record of building and backing high-impact ventures. He is the Managing Partner at Draft Ventures, a venture capital fund and venture studio focused on human and planetary health. Under his leadership, Draft has made over 80 seed-stage investments, including eight that have grown into unicorns.

David’s deep operational expertise stems from his leadership as Chief Operating Officer of Side Inc., a $2.5B proptech company, and Livefyre, a marketing tech company he led through acquisition by Adobe. Earlier in his career, he was an investor at Greycroft, a $2B AUM venture fund.

David is also passionate about hospitality, the arts, and cultural innovation. He is a Partner at Hotel El Ganzo, a boutique arts hotel and creative hub in Baja, Mexico, and advises Burning Man Project, a global arts festival and cultural movement.
