This experience is a gift. All you have to do is get yourself to Necker.

We believe strongly that patron-funded events nurture a spirit of "regenerosity".

At Necker our Patron is Richard Poe – serial entrepreneur, innovator, and philanthropist – and is underwritten by two of this organizations, Shipglide and BlueSky Adventures.

We are sincerely committed to founding this community and initiating the practice of guildcraft together. We're all working on remarkable projects, and this is a chance to share the work we're most passionate about.

We know you get invited to lots of events, and get asked for many donations.

That's not our intention here.

While there will be opportunities for investment and support in new keystone projects, your support is by no means obligatory.

The experience itself will be lightly programmed with one 2-hour, full-group session per day. Beyond this session, everything is opt-in.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the island, and most cell phone providers have coverage on Necker, though we encourage you to take the moment to unplug.

Traveling To & From

Getting Here

Plan to arrive to Beef Island Airport (EIS) on Tuesday Nov. 28 between 12-8pm.

Upon arrival, our driver will escort you to the nearby boat dock for a swift 30-minute speedboat transfer to Necker. These transfers will begin at 4pm, so if you land earlier we recommend enjoying a late lunch at Loose Mongoose until the pickup time.

Plan to depart from Beef Island Airport (EIS) on Sunday, Dec. 3 between 2pm-10pm.

Alternatively, you’re welcome to charter a boat or helicopter from elsewhere in the BVI. See the Welcome Aboard packet for pricing & details.

US, Canadian, UK & EU Passport holders with a 10- year passport that is valid for at least 6-months can enter/exit the BVI without a visa. If you hold a different passport ensure you check requirements.

The Earth One Summit is underwritten by Shipglide and BlueSky Adventures — companies led by Richard Poe.

Richard's background as a successful businessman in the real estate development and acquisition field allowed his focus to turn to environmental causes and specifically green technologies that reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increase carbon capture.

These companies range from a air lubrication company making ships more efficient in the water which increases fuel savings while reducing carbon emissions, to planting thousands of trees as natures carbon capture ecosystem and is part of a world wide effort to plant billions of trees.
