How does the application process work?

VASU is an intentionally curated event. Please complete your application telling us about yourself and what you hope to bring to this space. Our team reviews applications weekly, and if you're successful, we'll be in touch by email.

How do I get to there?

Jaisalmer is served by domestic carriers (IndiGo, Air India, Alliance Air) from Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur. Suryagarh is a thirty-minute taxi ride from Jaisalmer airport.

What accommodation options are there?

Suryagarh is a five-star heritage hotel with rooms that blend contemporary comfort with traditional Rajasthani design. Accomidations range from shared double rooms to Luxury Suites. Once your application is confirmed, you'll receive an email with a link to book your accommodation.

What will the weather be like?

Hot, dry desert days and cool evenings. Expect highs near 34°C (93°F) and lows around 20°C (68°F).

When do I hear back on my application?

Yes. Most nationalities can apply for an e-Tourist Visa online (no in-person embassy visit required). Processing typically takes a few days. We recommend applying a few weeks ahead of VASU.

Are Children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome. Under the [AGE] have free entrance as long as they're included within your chosen accommodation. For additional questions, write to crew@earthone.world.

Is food and water safe in India?

Yes, at Suryagarh the kitchen filters water to international standards and all VASU meals are prepared in kitchens that meet the highest safety standards. Beyond the venue, ordinary travel causion applies: avoid tap water, skip ice from unknown sources, and choose food that's cooked hot and fresh.
